Subproject 1: Western Europe
Subproject 1 explores the histories of radio collections in Europe, yet it focuses on historical recordings held today in Western Europe (focusing on former West Germany and the BeNeLux region).
Subproject 2: Central-Eastern Europe
Subproject 2 explores the histories of radio collections in Central/Eastern Europe, with a particular focus on Germany up to 1945, the German Democratic Republic (GDR) and Czechoslovakia.
Subproject 3: Digital Humanities
Subproject 3 explores how data sourced from European radio collections can be best integrated and analysed using digital tools, and contributes to discussions within the digital humanities.
